Our Friends Over There
A downloadable game
Our Friends Over There was written in response to the 2017 Game Chef competition's theme of borders and smoke.
It's one of the more convoluted games I've made, though it's still simple. It has a changing Narrator who gives a documentary style interpretation of what the other players are doing, and it is always wrong. There are work stations and strictures on communication, and a reliance on mime and dance. In the largest sense, the game is about the "other" in several different senses.
It can have 4+ players, probably takes 2-3 hours. Needs medium set-up.
It's never been playtested but I think it's a nice idea. I'd given it a 3 out of 5.
